3 Greatest Insights from The Royal Wedding
We all talk about awesome events. But today’s one is definitely the greatest of this year. The Royal Wedding has brought joy to the whole world through Harry and Megan’s authenticity and we’re gonna talk about the small gestures you might have missed.
1. Prince Harry & Meghan Markle honor Princess Diana
Princess Diana had an enormous impact on millions of lives, and definitely, her youngest son wanted to pay her the honors at his wedding. An empty seat was left near Charles, in her honor, and Megan Merkle had white garden roses in her bouquet which were Diana’s favorite flowers.
Diana’s part of family, the Spencer’s attended the wedding, as they did with William and Kate.
Because she was known to be the “people’s princess”, Harry invited 2640 members of the public to attend the event.
2. The Ring
The engagement ring is connected to Princess Diana memory again. The main stone was is brought from Botswana, and the little diamonds are placed on each side, both from Diana’s jewelry collection, all embraced in a yellow gold ring.
3. The Dress
Everybody expected this part of the Royal Wedding the most, being curious what choice would Megan Merkle make. She has definitely refined tastes, as she opted for a simple, stunning dress created by Clare Waight Keller, the new artistic director at Givenchy.
Some say it’s a controversial choice, as though Clare is a British fashion designer known for her feminine looks, Givenchy is a French company.
The dress is described by Megan Merkle herself by being “classic and simple, maybe with a twist“. Opposite from the dress she wore in “Suits” when her character got married was far more complicated.
As for the prices, it’s approximated that the dress cost was between 100k and 150k, and the wedding cake estimated at $71.000 itself.
The tweet says: “The wedding cake is to be served at the Reception. It was designed by Claire Ptak and features elderflower syrup made at The Queen’s residence in Sandringham from the estate’s own elderflower trees, as well as a light sponge cake uniquely formulated for the couple.”
